Are applicant and co-applicant records ever merged?
No. Each person is stored as a separate record with an explicit role, and extraction never combines fields across people even when they share a surname or address.
How are vernacular documents handled?
The original text is stored verbatim with its detected language, and an English transliteration is stored separately. Normalisation runs on the English form only.
Is address matching done by AI?
No. Matching is deterministic: addresses are normalised (abbreviations expanded, noise removed) and compared component-by-component with a similarity score.
Can I correct an AI value?
Yes. Every field keeps the AI value and your verified value side by side, and each edit is written to the case audit trail.
